Aerial Geophysical Prospecting:

Aerial geophysical prospecting: short for "aviation geophysical prospecting". Refers to the use of special detection instruments and equipment carried by aircraft to measure changes in various physical fields of the earth (such as magnetic field, gravitational field, electrical conductivity, etc.) from the air to conduct geological structure surveys and flight operations to find mineral deposits. Various special detection instruments are installed on the aircraft. Compared with ground geophysical prospecting, it has many advantages:

Able to overcome unfavorable geographical, topographical and cultural interference restrictions;

It is fast, efficient, and requires less labor. It can obtain survey data of a large area in a short period of time; it can understand the changes of the geophysical field with the height, and provide more information for explaining geological structure phenomena and prospecting. In recent years, the technology of unmanned aircraft has greatly improved, bringing vitality to unmanned low-altitude geophysical prospecting.
